‘A Cloud’ is an introspective single from MF Tomlinson, a recent PRAH Recordings signee. It’s a constantly developing, truly interesting track that merges the simplicity of finger-picked acoustic guitar work and conversational vocals with soaring flutes and strings that feel at once reassuring and sinister. "A Cloud is about how painful it is to live without your innermost desires," MF Tomlinson explains. "It is, in the same breath, about how beautiful life is despite all of its sadness, and how even the smallest moments can satisfy your spirit.” His upcoming second album (dropping in early 2023) is part of a theatre, dance and film work conceived by Daisy JT Smith and will be revealing itself over the course of 2022. -Dan Peeke.
